Medellin Digital and the Cedezo (Local Centers of Entrepreneurship Development) signed an agreement for the installation in the 8 centers, of PCs and wireless Internet. This will help spread the use of ICTs among the entrepreneurs in the different neighborhoods of the city.

The 5th of August the business creation node Medellin Digital was inaugurated. It will be a specialized unit in the ICT field in the city that will foster new business creation. This program is one action of the Medellin Digital plan to reduce the digital breach, by developing the ICT as a business tool.
The node will help entrepreneurs to strengthen their business based in the use of the ICTs, and develop new services to improve the market in the ICT field.

Last June, 1600 young students from 100 schools of Medellin gathered to celebrate the first Informatics Clubs Meeting. It was the opportunity to share their experience and tell the others about what they did in the Informatics Club. They have learned many ICT skills there.

The first 30 parents just graduated from the Medellin Digital Open Classroom course at the Santa Teresa School. One teacher and one parent, assisted by students from the school were in charge of teaching the group the basic use of the computers and their different tools.
